1. Ham aapke hain kaun, Tamil Nadu

We are still not over the chemistry between Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan in Ham Aapke Hain Kaun and love every bit of this film. A lot of scenes of this movie were shot in Ooty while the song Ye Mausam Ka Jadoo was filmed in Conoor Tea Estates. Prem Niwas where Salman lives is actually a guest house named Tamilagam in Ooty.

2. Koyla, Rajasthan

This 1997 thriller movie was fab, and Madhuri nailed her character 'Gauri'. The songs were iconic as well, and the movie was shot in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The massive haveli in the movie where Thakur Durjan Singh lives is actually Samode Hotels in Jaipur which was later turned into a heritage hotel.

3. Dedh Ishqiya, Barabanki

Another iconic film of Dhak Dhak girl, Dedh Ishqiya, was a hit and is a must-watch if you really adore her work. She played the role of Begum Para in the film, and The Mahmudabad Palace in Barabanki was used to shoot the haveli sequences. Many other scenes were also shot in Lucknow.

4. Beta, Jaipur

This 1992 drama film featured Anil Kapoor, and Madhuri Dixit, with Aruna Irani, and was another blockbuster. The very popular song in the movie ‘Koyal Si Teri Boli’ was shot at the Hawa Mahal in Jaipur. A few fight sequences, especially the one that happens at the railway station, were shot at Panvel station in Navi Mumbai, while a few sequences between Aruna Irani, Anil Kapoor, and Anupam Kher were filmed at Arranmore Palace in Ooty.

5. Devdas, Howrah, and Mumbai

Based on the novel of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyaya, Devdas has been made multiple times, but the ones featuring Dilip Kumar and Shahrukh Khan remain the benchmark for us. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, SRK's Devdas also featured Madhuri Dixit as Chandra Mukhi, and she did steal our hearts with her magnificent acting. Some parts of the movie were shot in Howrah, Kolkata, while for the rest; sets were created in Mumbai's Goregaon.
