1. Lagaan, Kutch
Lagaan was a cinematic spectacle and is one of those movies that can be watched innumerable times and will still give the same excitement. 2. Ghajini, Mumbai
Ghajini is a good example of how a remake of a movie should be done and this film was definitely a must-watch. From finding the chemistry between Aamir Khan and Asin adorable to seeing the heart-wrenching scene of Kalpana’s death, to Aamir Khan’s fabulous action scenes in the climax, this movie will always be remembered for many reasons. Some of its sequences were shot in Mumbai’s film city as well as Marine Drive. The scene when Kalpana shares an adorable conversation with Sanjay after he proposes to her was filmed at Marine Drive, while the shot where she hands over her savings to Sanjay for his mother’s treatment was shot in the Film City.
