Many people fast during the holy occasion of Shivratri and only eat non-cereal food. Here are a few fasting recipes if you are observing a fast on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.

Maha Shivratri is celebrated in honor of the God Shiva and his devotees observe a fast on this day. While some don't eat anything the whole day and break the fast the following day. Some people eat non-cereal dishes made of sabudana (tapioca pearls), kuttu ka atta (buckwheat), or ragi during the vrat. If you are observing a fast on this holy day, then you should try these fasting recipes.
