Located in Kamala Mills, this boho chic all-day Café is all about great vibes and an excellent global menu. The ambience is very cozy and would be great for a romantic meal.
If you are someone who prefers slow music, dim lights, and an ambience that’s nothing but all comforting, this dreamy cafe in Lower Parel is a perfect spot for you. Demy cafe & bar boasts three floors, each floor having something aesthetic for you to feast your eyes on. The top floor is an aesthetic outdoor garden terrace with cabanas and a bar. The first and the ground floor offer European and tropical vibes. With vintage frames featuring some stunning photographs, including pictures of the Queen, indoor plants, mammoth lanterns, and a white and nude colour scheme, Demy is a must-visit.
We started with Philly truffle cheese wontons, and they were super crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The flavour of truffle was kind of missing but the gooey taste compensated for that. Our next starter was Butter Chicken Naan Bites, and this was too cute to eat. The cute naan bombs were filled with creamy butter chicken gravy. It was pretty filling, but the buttery taste was not up to the mark. But yes, if you like the chicken part of butter chicken more, you are going to love this.

For the main course, we ordered Demy’s special Burrata Pizza. The crust was well done, and it came loaded with a generous amount of spinach leaves and fresh burrata. But we wished it was cheesier and had more flavour to its seasoning. Eat everything with ketchup or tabasco sauce and you are going to love it. Order their pizzas if you are a fan of subtle flavours.
We also tried their Mexican Paneer with chargrilled veggies and Mexican rice. It was presented beautifully in a cloche, and the moment the waiter removed it, there was an aromatic release of smoke. Taste-wise, too, this dish was a 5-star. The char-grilled paneer patty was soft and succulent. It was served with a tamarind dip which took the flavors to another level. This one is a must-eat if you like tandoori or a smokey flavour to your plate.
Desserts and more
If cheesecakes are your favourite you can’t miss the Nutella Sab Sabastian Cheesecake at Demys. It was creamy and lemony and was served with hot chocolate, Nutella, and vanilla bean ice cream. For us, this cheesecake was the highlight, and we loved how Nutella syrup balanced the citrus side of this dessert. For drinks, we sipped their Cucumber cooler, a sweet and sour, refreshing drink, and Pink lemonade: which was a happy mix of hibiscus, berry, rose, and lime juice.
Our Food note
For ambience and decor, Demy cafe & bar is an absolute 10/10. The staff is very polite and will welcome you with a wide, happy smile every single time. The food is flavoursome but the pizzas can get better.
