A restaurant with deaf and mute staff

Dobaara welcomes you with its spacious interior, airy ambience, and aesthetic and vintage white decor. As soon as you choose a spot to sit, one of the servers will greet you with a smile while the manager will tell you the particular gesture by which you could call the server when needed.

Let the food do the talking

For the appetizers, we ordered Fried Cheese Balls with cheesy fries and Paneer Achaari. The first one was an absolute cheesy delight with a crunchy exterior, while the latter was a tangy bite, and we loved how soft the paneer was. We also sipped on their signature watermelon mojito and Litchi dragon fruit juice. This mocktail duo was a treat as the weather was pretty humid.

For the main course, we devoured the lip-smacking Teriyaki Sauce and stir-fried veggies with Blue Rice. The texture, colour, flavours, and everything else were on point. We loved how this blue beauty looked and tasted so good. The Pides at Dobaara are also something you shouldn't miss as they are loaded, saucy, and gooey. 3 Mushroom Spinach Pide is what we suggest as it was a chef's kiss.

What Else?

The desserts are worth-trying, and the chocolate cheesecake with vanilla ice cream was something we fell in love with. This wasn't very sweet, and these were a delight for people like us who prefer less sugar in their meethas. The highlight of this dessert was the topping of the 18k gold foil, which looked absolutely gorgeous. The food at Dobaara was so good that we even packed a few dishes for home.

The courteous staff ensured that our experience was great and comforting with their quick service and lovely gestures. Local Samosa gives Dobaara in Lower Parel a 9/10 for the epic food, fantastic service, and overall vibe. So, do plan a visit, enjoy the food and have a conversation in sign language with the staff!
