Head to Blabber All Day in Juhu, Mumbai for a Dreamy Ambience and Heavenly Rose Cheesecake!

We recently visited the newly opened branch of Blabber All Day in Juhu, an Asian, Italian, North Indian, and Chinese food café and bar and it was an enchanting and delicious experience.

The pastel-themed café and bar in Borivali has now opened its doors in Juhu as well. Blabber All Day is an experience of low-key ambience with good food offering a wide range of cuisines from Asian to Italian, and more. This Juhu outlet has a 2-storey café with simple yet spacious seatings on the ground floor and a soothing environment on the 1^st floor.

As you walk past the pastel purple door of the café, you will notice a green-themed interior with comfortable seating. The lower room is floral themed with designs of flowers on the ceiling and seating covers, and a few frames on the walls. As you look to the right, the stairs with decorated walls aside from a rustic book and a few installations will lead you to the first floor. The chandelier on the entrance will catch your attention as you notice a pair of swing seating in front of you with various other arrangements. The upper deck is also lightly themed with muted colour pallete, glimmering chandeliers, a bar, and corners to chill and click pictures.

After admiring the setting, it was time to order some food. We started off with crunchy and smoky Lotus Stem, which had a crackle and burnt flavour but was a bit oily. The Chilly Oil Prawn Dimsums were just spot on with perfectly cooked outer layering and juicy and spicy filling, and they didn’t require any dip to complement it. The Veg Burnt Garlic Dimsum was decent in taste with charred garlic flavour, but it can definitely make it to your Instagram feed with its appealing colour and presentation. The Thai Basil Cottage Cheese Blue Pea Bao was fluffy and had a sweet-spicy stuffing. The best part about it was the look; a blue pouch filled with stuffing inside.

After the appetizers, we went for some big bites. The Dan Dan Noodles were sweet and savoury with a crunch of peanuts and exotic veggies, but they turned soggy after a while, so we suggest eating them piping hot. The Gnocchi El Pesto was such a treat to have! It was gooey and creamy and the pesto sauce, made with fresh basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, and Parmesan cheese, complemented the mashed potatoes perfectly. We tried this dish for the first time but fell in love with the flavours right after the first bite. The Nirvana Cocktail and Berry Smoke mocktails were amazing for refreshers.

A cheesecake worth applauding

Not to forget the highlight of the evening, 'Rose Cheese Cake,' which was awesome. The rose cheesecake arrived on our table with a solidified rose flower in a jar with smoke. We had to smash the rose to garnish the cake, and watching those petals burst over the cake was such a treat. This three-layered cheesecake was creamy on the top and grainy at the bottom and is our current sweet obsession.

Overall the place is excellent if you want to chill and relax in the pastel hues and enjoy the swings while you sip on your drinks. You can expect the service to be a bit slow, but the aesthetically pleasing surrounding will compensate for the waiting time. A must-visit for its soothing vibe, Instagrammable pictures, gnocchi, and rose cheesecake.
