The Bluebop Cafe in Khar has a rustic ambience and serves some lip-smacking food with delicious desserts that are sure to make your taste buds go yummmm.

If you are looking for some delicious Italian food in the city, then The Bluebop Cafe is a great place to be. Along with their exotic Italian menu, they serve a range of Mexican, American, and continental cuisines. This cafe has a rustic decor with simple yet comfortable seating, a couple of photo frames of famous American singers on the walls, and a bar inside. But don't forget to order their homemade desserts and valentine's special meal (ongoing till 21st Feb) because it is simply amazing.

The Ambience

This cafe has indoor as well as outdoor seating with antique furniture. The ambience inside gives an old-school vibe with dim lights and jazz music. The nut-brown walls with frames of famous American jazz and rock singers like Billie Holiday make up for a classic vibe. The outside area with a subtle decor of shrubs and wooden furniture can be a good fit for a date.

The Menu

The cafe has a range of Mexican, Italian, American, and continental cuisines with options for salads, soups, and small bites like nachos, tacos, and burgers. They specialize in an Italian menu that has risotto and freshly baked New York-style pizzas. Their pizzas also have gluten-free base options made with Rajgira flour. There's a bar counter as well which has some signature cocktails like a blossom, bourbon hibiscus, and spiced Paloma.

Valentine's Special ft. Savory Story

Along with the regular menu, Bluebop also has a limited-period Valentine's special menu. We tried this menu and fell in love with it. We started the love trail with Heart shaped ravioli which was scrumptious. The veg avocado tacos were a bit soggy but the rajma filling in it made up for the taste. The love garden pizza is a must-try if you like your pizza loaded with cheese and veggies. Chili lime shrimp skewers were spicey and well-balanced with a hint of lime. The last one to arrive was heart-shaped strawberry ricotta bruschetta which was made with spinach and was on a sweeter note.

Valentine's Special ft. Sweet Love

After the savory meal, it was time for some desserts and drinks. Candy floss sparkle martini was herbaceous and slightly sweeter taste and the kiwi punch was refreshing enough to quench your thirst. We couldn't have asked for a better ending than 'stuck on you cake sickle.' It was a perfect blend of strawberry and chocolate and was equally appealing to the eyes.
