Ticket prices to see flamingos increased by 60% in Mumbai

The ticket price for the flamingo sanctuary, which is the only marine sanctuary in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) has increased by 66%. The ticket would cost Rs. 30 for an Indian citizen and Rs. 60 for foreigners. However, the current price for Indian tourists is Rs. 50 while it's Rs. 100 for foreign travellers.

Haryana tops the list of unemployment in states

According to the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), India recorded an unemployment rate of 8.30% in December with Haryana topping the list with 37.4%. The state was followed by Rajasthan, Delhi, Bihar, and Jharkhand. On the other hand, Odisha recorded the lowest unemployment rate at 0.9% followed by Gujarat, Karnataka, Meghalaya, and Maharashtra.

CRPF to consider hiring women personnel during anti-insurgency ops

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is looking forward to training women personnel to deploy and include them in the counter-insurgency operations. Hiring is most likely to take place for searches around gunfight scenes in Jammu and Kashmir.

Karnataka to build Ram Mandir inspired by Ayodhya's temple

Karnataka's Higher Education Minister Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan has announced that the State Government is planning to construct a 'Ram Mandir' on the lines of Ayodhya's Ram temple. He also stated that a similar decision could be announced soon, in the next state budget.

Bengaluru airport ranked most punctual airport in the world

Kempegowda International Airport of Bengaluru has been ranked the "most punctual" airport in the world in 2022. Cirium, an aviation data analytics company, has done the ranking. With the order, Bengaluru airport has become the only airport to have entered the list of global airports.
