Mumbaikars, now you can enjoy Surat's popular Fuljar Soda along with exotic drinks in Malad at this small soda shop named 'Hello Hydration' and add a little fizz to your post-street food trail.
Started by the sibling duo Parth and Kunal Pandav, Hello Hydration - The Soda Station is a cute little soda shop at the end of the Malad Khaugalli that offers different types of mocktails and soda shots. It was a dream of this brother duo to start their own business since their childhood as their father, too, had a soda shop in the nearby area. Carrying forward the legacy of their dad and making him proud, the Pandav brother founded this shop 8 months ago, offering different types of mocktails and sodas. But then, how did Surat's epic Fuljar Soda come into the picture?
"While strolling on the streets of Surat, we came across this interesting type of soda and thought of bringing it to Mumbai", said Parth.
After the duo was back home, they gave this Fuljar soda an urban twist by presenting it in shot glasses. The concept is to dip the shot glass in a bigger glass as the fizz comes up and drink the soda before all of it oozes out. If you're not quick enough to take a sip, you have nothing to relish. The shot is not that strong and has a subtle taste that is sure to quench your thirst.
Professor Mojito
This Soda pub serves around 50 types of refreshing drinks, from crushes to mocktails. This spot is a favourite hang-out spot for friends and family with pleasing decor. The green-colour-themed decor of this place is something you'll notice from far away. You can enjoy a sip of a refreshing Lemon Jaljira Soda or different flavours of Virgin Mojito with a vibrant look all around. We recommend you try their signature drink, which will surely surprise you with its look, taste, and colour. Sea Breeze and Professor are the mocktails people love. All the drinks are also very pocket friendly, with soda starting at Rs.15 to Mocktails at Rs.70.
The daily footfall in this shop is around 100 customers, and it is always crowded. Despite the rush, the staff tries their best to serve the drinks as quickly as possible. When asked about their future plans, the owners said. "We plan to open a club in Malad with the same concept of Soda Shots."
