Enjoy good food with boozy ice cream at Out of the Blue in Khar, Mumbai!

Standing tall for 23 years, Out of the Blue is one of the most popular restaurants in Khar and offers a fine dining experience with sophisticated interiors, a scrumptious menu, and a tranquil vibe. If you are looking for a meal that's filling, ice-creams that can make you go high, and an ambience that's perfect for a good time, Out of the Blue is a place you should head to.

A toothsome menu!

The decor of this place is a mix of blue and grey and has both- indoor and outdoor seating options. The outdoor one is too pretty to ignore and would be perfect for a romantic dinner, while the indoor seating is warmer and has gorgeous paintings on its walls. We decided to dine inside and loved the overall vibe.

Starting our feast on a crunchy note, we ordered a bowl of Truffle Garlic Fries. Fresh, crispy, and with the subtle flavours of the truffle, the fries were on point. However, we feel something should have been added to keep the flavours of the garlic on the fries intact. The waiter then brought the second dish, which was cheesy and sheer bliss! The sourdough crust of this epic 5 Cheese Pizza was done just right and had a generous amount of cheese on it. Topped with cheese cubes, this one is definitely a treat for all pizza lovers.

Up next was the Sizzler cottage cheese, which came with a thick paneer patty and was drizzled with sweet sauce, fries, fried onions (Birista), and carrots. The sweet flavour and the crunchiness of the birista was the highlight of this dish and quantity-wise also, it was great; good option if you love smokey flavours. Other than this, feel free to order a bowl of penne pasta because it comes with extra sauce and has a filling flavour.

What else?

The food is definitely a big yes at Out of the Blue, but the drinks and the desserts are even better. The dark chocolate fondue is a must-try. Served with brownies, tea cakes, and fruits, this one was heavenly. For drinks, Red Sangria and virgin mojito are something we will suggest trying.

Along with your drinks, do have their ice cream from the in-house Delicatessen, as they have liquor-infused ice creams that are creamy and have a delicious taste. In a nutshell, this place is cozy and has amazing decor with cabanas. Plan a visit soon, as a weekend dinner or lunch here would be just perfect.
