Doctors have raised the alarm over a new illness called 'Tomato Flu,' a type of hand, foot, and mouth disease. A few cases have been found in Kerala and Odisha affecting children who are below five years of age. It has affected 82 children as of now.

2. Sleeping pods now available at Chennai Airport

Chennai International Airport has launched sleeping pods at the domestic arrival terminal for the ease of passengers. The name of the facility is a sleeping pod facility called ‘Sleepzo’ established in Domestic Arrival near baggage belt no.1.

3. All AIIMS to be renamed after local heroes, geographical buildings

According to a new announcement by the central government, it has been proposing to give specific names to all the AIIMS, including Delhi, based on regional heroes, freedom fighters, historical events, monuments of the area, or their distinct geographical identity. As of now, six AIIMS are fully functional.

4. Vaishno Devi Yatra resumes after bad weather conditions

The Vaishno Devi Yatra resumed for the pilgrims to take them to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra town in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir from Sunday. The Yatra was temporarily suspended due to bad weather conditions a few days back.

Captain Zoya Agarwal, a senior Air India pilot of aircraft Boeing-777, has become the first Indian woman pilot to get into a place in SFO aviation recently. She has achieved the feat after flying an aircraft above the North pole, covering a record-breaking distance of around 16,000 Kilometres.
