1. Droupadi Murmu takes oath as President
Creating history, Droupadi Murmu has taken oath as the 15th President of India. She is the first tribal woman to the highest constitutional post in the country. The ceremony was followed by a 21-gun salute and the address by Murmu at the Central Hall.

Byculla is soon going to get a cable bridge with an “iconic design” and selfie point just parallel to the already existing Byculla Road Over Bridge (ROB). A memorandum of understanding has been signed between BMC and Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation for the construction of these ROBs.

The old forgotten drinking water fountains called ‘pyaus’ will make a come back in the South of Mumbai as the BMC plans to build 18 such across the area while also creating a heritage tourist circuit of these structures.
