Here's how you can register for the Covid vaccine on the Aarogya Setu app, Co-Win Portal

This phase aims to capture 10 crore people who are above 60, and those who are over 45 suffering from a certain medical condition, or disease.

Though the pandemic is still going on, and the numbers of patients are increasing each day, it's still a relief to know that finally, we have a vaccine for this deadly virus. And, here is a detailed guide about how to register for the Covid vaccine through Co-WIN, which is a government portal linking vaccine dose to its recipient, or through the Aarogya Setu app.

Follow the following steps to book an appointment on the Aarogya Setu app.

1. Install the app, and add all the basic, necessary details like your name, age, symptoms, and etc. (Don't panic, it's simple)
2. Once you have filled the details you will be taken to the homepage, which looks like the image below.

3. On the homepage you will have to tap on the icon called "CoWIN" on top.

4. After tapping you will come across 4 options namely, Vaccine information, Vaccination (login / Register), Vaccination certificate, and Vaccination Dashboard.

5. Click on the second option, 'Vaccination (Login / Registration). The following page will appear on your screen.

6. Now enter your mobile number, and verify it with the OTP.

7. Once it is verified, you will be asked to upload a photo ID proof (Adhaar card, Voter ID, PAN card, etc.)

8. Fill in the rest of the details properly, and submit your application.



9. On the next page you will have to submit proof of eligibility (People above 60 are eligible). Those who are between the age of 45 - 59, will have to submit a doctor's certificate as proof of comorbidity (which will explain your ongoing medical conditions or disease)



10. Once you have uploaded all the necessary proofs, then you can have a look at the vaccination centre by state, district, block, and Pincode. Now click on the 'book' option.

11. Finally, you will see a confirmation message with all the appointment details, and you are done!

Booking an appointment on CoWin.gov.in

1. Click on CoWin.gov.in
2. Tap on 'Register Yourself'
3. Enter your mobile number, and verify it.
4. Once it is verified, you will be able to see the registration page, where you will have to add the photo ID proof, number, and full name to it.

5. Click on the register button, if it is for a senior citizen. If you are registering for someone with comorbidities, click on yes when “Do you have any comorbidities (pre-existing medical conditions)” pops up.



(People in the age bracket of 45-60 will have to carry a medical certificate with them for the appointment. Once you are registered, you will get a confirmation message.)



7. Just like the Arogya Setu app, here also a single account can register for 4 people. Something like this will appear on your screen

8. Besides the 'Action' tab, click on the small calendar icon.

9. Tap on 'Schedule Appointment, a new page will pop up

10. Now, enter details like State/UT, District, Block, and Pincode. Once you have entered everything, click on the “Search” button.



11. You will get a list of vaccination centres that will appear depending on your location. Select the most convenient one, and then click on the 'Book' option

11. Pick the centre, and the time slot, and tap on 'Confirm'.

12. An “Appointment Successful” page will pop up, and now you can download it if you want.



If you want to re-schedule the appointment, you can do it by clicking on the edit icon below the ‘Action’ column against a certain individual.
