Under the Mission Shakti program, girl students in UP will receive self-defence training for which each school has been provided with Rs 3000.
It’s a fact that before training our girls with self-defence techniques to deal with adverse situations, we need to teach our boys basic etiquette and behaviour. However, one still can not undermine the need to be self-sufficient in today’s world. On a similar line, girl students in UP will receive self-defence training in their schools.
Under the Mission Shakti program, girls from more than 40,000 upper primary schools in UP will learn the techniques between March 1 and 31.
Students from Class 6 to 8 will able to take the training after which certificates will also be provided to them.
