Big sigh for brides
Being a complete sneaker lover, Shruti wanted to offer comfort, look, wearability, and style, to women all in one sneaker. She says that Sneaker is a very technical product. “We had to do a good amount of trial and errors before the first one was out,” she added. However, it became an instant hit as per her expectations. “We have been very lucky that women of all ages have accepted us very easily. We always get a call back after the wedding season is over, telling us how it was a blessing to them. Brides have now found this to be an all-nighter for every party night,” she said.
Shruti believes that urban Indian women identify themselves with both the Indian and the global image. And, hence, they are done with stilettos. “We feel that sneakers are here to stay, in India as well as internationally. The world is moving towards choosing comfort over fashion. The athleisure industry is booming, and so are sneakers,” she said.
Shruti Gupta, who receives an average of hundred orders per month, aims to give people quality and comfort to make their lives easier. She is also planning to add other products to her store.
