The viral Baba ka Dhaba owner Kanta Prasad has opened a new restaurant in Delhi!

This new venture has also been named 'Baba Ka Dhaba', and it will serve Chinese and Indian cuisine to its customers.

Kanta Prasad aka Baba ka Dhaba owner who had become quite popular on social media has now opened a brand new restaurant in Malviya Nagar. Eighty-year-old Kanta Prasad and his wife Badami Devi yesterday inaugurated their new restaurant in the same area where they used to serve dal, curry, parathas, and rice.



The new Baba Ka Dhaba will offer Indian and Chinese food to its customers and even has two new chefs. The old eatery will also keep running, and Kanta Prasad will be taking care of it.



This new restaurant is in rented accommodation and will start serving food from Wednesday.

The new Baba Ka Dhaba will have both dine-in and takeaway options. Along with 2 new chefs, the family members will also help in the restaurant.

The old couple rose to fame because of a video in which Kanta Prasad tearfully explained the financial distress he and his family were facing during the lockdown. Gaurav Vasan, who is a food blogger, had shot the video. The video became the talk of social media in no time, and it was shared by a lot of people. Many Delhiites even visited baba ka Dhaba and helped Kanta Prasad by making orders.

''We're very happy, God has blessed us. I want to thank people for their help. I appeal to them to visit my restaurant. We will serve Indian & Chinese cuisine here," Mr. Prasad told ANI.
