The initiative aims at providing meals to the affected dabbawalas and their families. ‘Prema Cha Dabba’ becomes even more beautiful when everyone gets together, said Suniel as reported by Hindustan Times.
With a well planned 3 month plan, the actors have aimed to provide meals to at least 5,000 families during these difficult times. The team has already delivered 800 kits of lentils, rice, flour, oil, and sugar to the dabbawalas that have camped in Pune. The NGO, Save The Children India has been actively helping the Prema Cha Dabba initiative. Their staff members are taking care of the on-ground operation.
