The collection weaves around Unravelling the Future.The early handicraft of Bandhani/ बांधानी, Sanskrit for ‘bandh’ (to bind, or tie), is the perfect anti-thesis for the vision behind this collection – a resounding denial of everything that attempts to binds us to one, singular identity.
There is a poeticism to traditional Indian artisanry being the conduit with which we’ve tried to dismantle the boundaries of gendered fashion. Every piece espouses old-world aesthetics with inclusive design, resulting in audacious prints, asymmetric hems and androgynous silhouettes.
