Monsoon is finally here in Jaipur and keeping in mind that it’s good to have chai and Pakodas with some slow music, it’s also the perfect time to take a break from your job and getaway.

1. A photography session at Maota Lake

At the foot of the Amer Fort, Maota Lake has an island covered with lush gardens, including a saffron garden.

Maota lake bathes the pink city in its charm in the monsoon, which gives the photographers a perfect chance to find the right minute to capture this supreme visual pleasure.

2. A trek to Charan Mandir

The best part of this little walk is the view of Jal Mahal and it's the beauty you see on the way. Well, really! Beautiful royal architecture in the lake! As you walk through the path, you’ll discover a ton of greenery.  The route of this trek is a mix of paved surface and shrubs and bushes. If you are lucky, you can spot several species of birds. The ideal time to trek is from July to March when the weather supports our adventure.
