- Collective Artists Network, a talent management and influencer marketing firm, acquired galleri5, an AI-powered platform, hinting towards AI-driven strategies in the space of creator management.
- MGM Healthcare, a multi-specialty quaternary-care group acquired Seven Hills Hospital in Vizag for Rs. 171 crore. The acquisition is said to be part of the corporate insolvency resolution process of Seven Hills Hospital.
- AI-based financial wellness platform, CASHe's parent company, Aeries Financial Technologies' (AFT) acquired Centcart Insurance Broking. However, the amount has not been disclosed.
- The ed-tech platform Schoolnet acquired the Mumbai-based K-12 focussed quiz-based learning app Genius Teacher in an all-stock deal. The company has not disclosed the financial numbers.
- Indian crypto exchange CoinDCX has announced that it has fully acquired BitOasis, a Middle Eastern virtual asset platform. Both teams will merge, with BitOasis retaining its brand.
- Nodwin Gaming, the esports arm of Nazara Technologies, is acquiring Freaks 4U Gaming, a German esports agency in a two-part share swap deal costing Rs. 271 crore.
- With bases in the US and development centres in India, HR tech firm Phenom acquired Tydy, a human resources technology startup that offers pre-boarding and onboarding of new employees.
- Eying to lead in the industry, the edible oil major Patanjali Foods Ltd acquired Patanjali Ayurved's home and personal care business for Rs. 1,100 crore.
- UltraTech Cement has bought 23% of India Cements for Rs1,885 crore. It was a non-controlling financial investment made at Rs. 267 per share.
- Dr. Reddy announced an acquisition of Nicotinell portfolio products for £500 million. The amount includes an upfront cash payment of £458 million and performance-based contingent payments of up to £42 million which will be payable in 2025 and 2026.
- A US-based venture capital firm General Catalyst merged with Delhi NCR-based early-stage investment firm Venture Highway. After the merger, the brand will come to be known as General Catalyst India.
- The NSE-listed OTA Yatra Online acquired Adventure and Nature Network Private Limited (ANN) picking up an additional stake of 49% for Rs. 98 Lakh.
- Ananta Capital’s beauty and wellness arm, Guardian, acquired a 55% stake in a D2C personal care startup, Anveya Living. The brand Guardian also plans to increase its stake.
- TMRW, the Aditya Birla Group’s fashion arm acquired a 16% stake in the Virat Kohli-backed WROGN for Rs. 125 Crore. it is an all-cash deal. The funds are likely to be used to expand WROGN’s offline footprint.
- 360 One signed an agreement intending to buy ET Money from Times Internet for Rs. 365.8 Cr in a cash and stock deal. Herein, as per the reports, the wealth and asset company paid Rs. 85.8 Cr in cash to the company.
- Nazara Technologies’ subsidiary NODWIN Gaming International Pte Ltd, has bought Ninja Global FZCO (Ninja), an esports and gaming production company for $3.57 Mn in a cash and stock deal.
- The early-stage venture fund South Park Commons (SPC), based in Bengaluru has entered India in collaboration with Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal to open its first international outpost in Bengaluru.
- Aiming to become one of the leading sports and entertainment focus publishers in the US market, Nazara Technologies’ subsidiary Absolute Sports (parent of Sportskeeda) acquired all the assets of Pennsylvania-based entertainment news site Soap Central for an amount of $1.4 Mn in an all-cash deal.
- Amazon reached its final stage in acquiring MX Player from Times Internet. The company also confirmed that it has signed an agreement to buy some assets of the video streaming platform.
- Times Network, the Broadcasting giant has bought the technology media portal Digit.in from 9.9 Group through an undisclosed amount. The company is looking to work on its digital publishing capabilities.
- Fintech startup BharatX acquired healthcare startup Zenifi. As a part of the collaboration, Zenifi co-founder Padam Kataria joined BharatX to lead its healthcare vertical.
- Honasa Consumer Ltd., the parent company of Mamaearth, acquired the assets of Thane-based skincare company CosmoGenesis Labs for $480K (Rs. 4 Cr).
- IndiaMART, a B2B marketplace acquired a 10% stake in a fraud detection startup named Baldor Technologies for Rs. 89.7 Cr (about $10.7 Mn). The investment will likely uphold the long-term objective of providing various software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for businesses.
- The AI platform SocialBoat was acquired by Noise, an audio tech startup where the amount has not been disclosed. The startup aims to use SocialBoat’s AI capabilities to offer services on its wearable devices.
- B2B fintech startup CashFlo acquired GST compliance platform Logitax for an undisclosed amount.
- VC fund YourNest Venture Capital partnered with SanchiConnect, deep tech enablement platform together launched an accelerator for deep tech startups, Velocity Fast Track Startup Funding Program.
- News aggregator DailyHunt’s parent company VerSe Innovation acquired the digital newsstand platform Magzter. Post this acquisition, VerSe launched DailyHunt Premium, a subscription-based service to grant users access to premium content.
- The cloud kitchen startup Ghost Kitchens India announced to have acquired The Shy Tiger in an all-cash deal.
- Spartan Poker and BatBall 11, OneVerse Gaming bought online poker platform PokerSaint.
