Tamasha is a criminally underrated film of RK and is one of our absolute favourites. Everything about this film is gold and highly relatable. Kolkata and Delhi were its prime shoot locations and are featured beautifully throughout. The soulful ‘Agar Tum Saath Ho’ was shot in the Hauz Khas outlet of Socials in New Delhi. Some of the sequences were also filmed in the Gurgaon IT hub. Kolkata, too appeared in this movie in multiple scenes. J Thomas & Co. Pvt Ltd was chosen as Tara's workplace while some of the sequences also featured Victoria Memorial, on the roads near Rabindra Sadan.

2. Tu Jhooti Main Makkar, Delhi NCR

The popular song Sadda Haq was shot at multiple places including Central Park in CP, Delhi, and Gloria Church in Mumbai as well as Norbulingka Institue in Dharamshala. Various colleges in Delhi like Hindu College, and St., Stephan College were also used for some of Heer and Jordan's initial shots. Other than these, songs like Katiya Karu and Yeh Chand Sa Roshan Chehra were shot in Betaab Valley in Pahalgam and Dal Lake, respectively. YJHD is certainly among Ranbir's top 5 movies we think. A perfect combination of friendship, love, good songs, and meaningful dialogues, this movie was an emotional ride. The film itself gives the vibe of wanderlust and has some magnificent locations featured. Major of the film was shot in Jammu & Kashmir. The sequence of Naina and Bunny’s first day in Manali was shot near Hadimba Temple. The song Subhan Allah was filmed in the snow-clad Pahalgam, in Jammu, and the trek Kongdori area of Kashmir.

6. Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Ooty

This rom-com holds a special place in our hearts and feels like a tight warm hug. The chemistry between Kat and Ranbir was simply adorable, whereas the songs were like a breath of fresh air. A major part of the film was shot in Ooty, including the scene where Prem imagines himself proposing to Jenny. Ooty Lake looks serene in the background enhancing its beauty. The continuing scene where he waits for Jenny was filmed outside a heritage villa in Ooty called Regency Villa Palace.

7. Wake up Sid, Mumbai

Another must-watch especially for those who adore the city of dreams, Mumbai, Wake Up Sid was a gem. A great plot with relatable characters and scenarios makes this film a 10/10. Marine Drive was featured 2-3 times in the movie, adding more depth and beauty to the shots.

8. Brahmastra, Varanasi, Manali

No matter what we say about the dialogues and the cheesiness of this film, there's no denying that Brahmastra succeeded in looking like a visual spectacle. The VFX was on point, as well as the story, while the cameos made it feel even better. Kesariya which became a hit even before the film's release was shot in Varanasi. Brahmastra had a 20-day schedule at the historic Ramnagar Fort and Chet Singh Fort. The crew moved to Manali in Himachal Pradesh after completing the Varanasi shoot. The trailer also shows the beauty of one of the most stunning mountains.
