The grand festivities begin in Porvorim on February 28 with a curtain-raiser float parade. On March 1, head to Panaji, where the main carnival procession happens, featuring King Momo, the jovial ruler of festivities. On March 2, Margao adds its own flair with traditional Dekhnni dances, while Vasco da Gama showcases quirky port-town floats on March 3. The final day, March 4, brings the celebrations to Mapusa and Morjim, where people gather for an exciting conclusion to the carnival.
