India, the world's largest democracy, has endured significant turmoil under numerous nations and dynasties. However, when the motherland finally gained independence from the longest-ruling colonisers, it created a Constitution—a set of fundamental rules that define how the country is governed. This document is the longest written constitution in the world, comprising over 145,000 words, 448 articles, 12 schedules, and 103 amendments.
