Sportscom Launches First-Ever ‘Giving Wings to Dreams’ Conclave to Power India’s Sports Startup Growth

Sportscom, India's sports start-up ecosystem, launched a platform designed for early-stage sports enterprises. The conclave will bridge the gap between sports startups seeking seed and pre-seed capital and investors with fund sizes of up to USD 2 million.

Sportscom ‘Giving Wings to Dreams’ Conclave launched the first edition of a platform designed exclusively for early-stage sports enterprises. The event will take place on August 25, 2025, at the Shangri-La Eros Hotel, New Delhi, with the backing of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.

The conclave is likely to bridge the gap between sports start-ups seeking seed and pre-seed capital and investors with fund sizes of up to USD 2 million. The event aims to have a live pitching session, which will see selected sports ventures present to Inflection Point Ventures, SucSEED Indovation, Marwah Sports, Real Time Angel Fund, and Lead Invest. Strengthening the pipeline, IIT Madras, AIC IIT Delhi, and Amity Innovation and Incubation Centre will provide incubation support.

Senior government officials including Mr. Hari Ranjan Rao, Secretary, Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and Dr. Shobhit Jain, Joint Secretary (Development) will headline the event, joined by Sportscom industry figures such as Mr. Jalaj Dani, President, Sportscom, Mr. Vivek Singh, Joint MD, ProCam, and Mr. Udit Sheth, MD, TransStadia. Investors, including Mr. Chintan Vyas (Inflection Point Ventures) and Dr. Vibhuti Agarwal (Real Time Angel Fund), will provide perspectives from the funding side.
