Actor and wellness advocate Samantha Ruth Prabhu, along with co-founders Harshita Motaparthi and Pravishta Nadella, has launched Mile Collective, a contemporary activewear and lifestyle label focused on everyday comfort and ease.
Mile Collective is built around the idea that clothing should feel comfortable throughout the day, whether worn for movement, rest, or daily routines. The brand offers soft, snug, and thoughtfully designed pieces intended for Indian bodies and everyday wear, rather than being limited to workout-specific use. The focus remains on clothing that transitions seamlessly across activities without requiring changes in outfit or intent.
The collection is designed to sit between activewear and daily essentials. The pieces are meant for morning walks, travel, time at home, and other regular moments. With easy silhouettes, breathable fabrics, and intuitive fits, the designs aim to support comfort across changing settings. The colour palette features soft, wearable shades paired with clean silhouettes, avoiding excess detailing and loud finishes.
Mile Collective has evolved from Mile Active, which was originally launched in 2023 by Harshita Motaparthi. The brand began with four products and a design approach centred on softness, ease, and wearability, shaped by the lack of comfortable, well-fitting activewear suited to Indian bodies and climate. As the brand developed, Pravishta Nadella joined as co-founder, contributing to a broader vision for its growth. Around the same time, Samantha Ruth Prabhu came on board as co-founder, aligned with the brand’s focus on wellness, comfort-led design, and intentional living.
“Mile was never about pushing harder,” says Harshita Motaparthi. “It was about creating pieces that feel good to live in. Mile Collective is an extension of that thinking. Clothes that support your day, without demanding anything from you.”
“Mile Collective reflects how I choose to live today,” says Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Co-founder, Mile Collective. “Movement, for me, isn’t just about fitness. It’s about balance, intention, and ease through the day. I found myself reaching for Mile every single day; it became a habit. The pieces look effortlessly fab, feel like a soft cloud yet snug in all the right places, and the colours are just beautiful. It’s comfort you can feel and clothing that makes your day feel better.”
With this launch, Mile Collective positions itself as a label designed for real days, offering clothing intended to feel natural, wearable, and easy to return to again and again.
