Nike and Superkicks Launch Air Force 1 ‘Unmistakable’ in India

Nike and Superkicks have come together to introduce the Air Force 1 ‘Unmistakable’ in India, marking a new moment for sneaker culture in the country. The release continues the legacy of the Nike Air Force 1, a silhouette that began on the basketball court and later became a mainstay in street and style culture worldwide. The AF1 ‘Unmistakable’ arrives in India through an exclusive Superkicks Mumbai launch, connecting the global icon with India’s growing community of sneaker and sports culture enthusiasts.

The Air Force 1 ‘Unmistakable’ maintains the clean construction associated with the original silhouette while introducing refreshed design elements. The sneaker features a blue Swoosh, heel tab, and outsole, alongside a colour palette of blue, orange, green, and white. These colours reference the energy and aspirations of India’s youth and athletes. A “Just Do It” keychain accompanies the sneaker, reflecting the mindset associated with persistence and ambition.

Constructed with a leather upper, the sneaker includes a perforated toe box for breathability and Nike Air cushioning for comfort. The AF1 ‘Unmistakable’ is made in India and stays true to the form and durability the Air Force 1 is known for, while incorporating details designed specifically for this release.

The AF1 ‘Unmistakable’ is worn by Nike athletes Shubman Gill, Tilak Varma, Shreyas Iyer, and Manika Batra. The campaign featuring these athletes was shot at grassroots sports academies in Mumbai and Jaipur. The campaign focuses on the intersection of sport, youth culture, and personal journeys, drawing from each athlete’s experience of perseverance and growth.
