Knya announced its expansion into the United Arab Emirates (UAE), marking the company’s first international market entry. The expansion follows consistent inbound demand from UAE-based healthcare professionals who have been actively seeking access to Knya’s products, reinforcing the market readiness for the brand’s entry.
UAE operations will offer the brand’s portfolio of premium scrubs, lab coats, aprons, jackets, Hijabs and medical accessories through distribution partnerships and direct-to-consumer channels, built on the retail and digital infrastructure developed in India. The inclusion of medical hijabs reflects Knya’s focus on inclusivity and functional design, particularly relevant to the Middle East healthcare workforce.
Abhijeet Kaji, Co-Founder, Knya, said, “UAE is an important milestone for us as a brand stepping outside India for the first time. Healthcare professionals everywhere experience similar challenges around long duty hours and climate-led discomfort. We are excited to bring our customer-first mindset to the UAE medical community while building a strong and scalable retail foundation.”
Vansikha Kaji, Co-Founder, Knya, said, “Our core achievement has been in proprietary fabric technology built for challenging Indian conditions. Entering the UAE motivates us to elevate our R&D further and adapt our moisture management, stretch engineering, and durability standards to meet global benchmarks. Technology will remain the heart of how Knya continues solving for healthcare professionals worldwide.”
Based on the response and success in the UAE, Knya will evaluate and plan the rollout of physical retail stores in the region as part of its next growth phase.
