JioCinema Announces Premium Plan Starting at just Rs 29 per month

Competing with Netflix and Amazon Prime in the OTT space till now, Reliance’s JioCinema has come in strong with a premium plan at just Rs. 29 per month. 

It includes an ad-free experience in up to 4K quality along with off-line viewing options. For all those who share an account, JioCinema brings the ‘Family’ plan at Rs. 89 per month that allows simultaneous viewing on four screens. Current premium members will automatically get upgraded to the ‘Family’ plan at no extra cost.

While JioCinema continues to offer free content like live sport events including the IPL, the premium plan offers exclusive international content dubbed in local languages. So series like Game Of Thrones and House Of The Dragon, as well as movies from major studios like Peacock, HBO, Paramount, and Warner Bros. Discovery will be available for viewing.

JioCinema Premium members will also get early access to content from channels like Colors, Nickelodeon and other Viacom18 Network. This will include serials before they air on TV.

For those who enjoy original content, Jio Cinema has something for everyone. With upcoming series like Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond and Murder In Mahim, the OTT platform plans on delivering something new every month. Another key feature will be having a Bollywood blockbuster premiere every month, starting with Zara Hatke Zara Bachke in May.
