93.5 RED FM, India’s leading private radio and entertainment network, successfully hosted the Delhi debut of its Dugga Dugga Festival at Talkatora Stadium on September 20, 2025, celebrating Maa Durga with music, dance, food, fashion, and culture.
Already a landmark event in Kolkata with three successful editions, the Dugga Dugga Festival expanded this year to both Kolkata and Delhi. Its maiden Delhi edition drew a diverse audience, with 80% Bengali attendees and 20% non-Bengalis, reflecting the festival’s cross-cultural appeal. The stadium resonated with the rhythmic beats of dhak, traditional rituals, and modern performances that created an immersive festive experience.
The evening featured an impressive lineup of performances. Dona Ganguly and her troupe kicked off the celebrations with an Odissi recital, followed by the soulful voice of Anjan Dutta. The Anupam Roy Band infused contemporary energy into the night, and National Award-winner Iman Chakraborty concluded the festival with a soul-stirring performance that left the audience mesmerized.
The festival experience went beyond the stage. Attendees savored authentic Bengali cuisine curated by 6-Ballygunge, Raju Chaat Corner (CR Park), BiliHu, Twist Bubble, and more, covering snacks, mains, and desserts that captured the essence of Pujo flavors. Adding to the festivities, Blossom Kochar offered Alta and Jooda styling experiences, bringing traditional aesthetics to life.
Nisha Narayanan, Director & COO, RED FM & Magic FM, said, “Bringing Dugga Dugga to Delhi and seeing such overwhelming response has been humbling and exciting. The festival celebrates music, art, and tradition, creating a platform where communities come together in joyous celebration. This marks the beginning of Dugga Dugga as a cultural landmark in North India.”
The Dugga Dugga Festival has established itself as a vibrant cultural event, blending food, music, art, and community spirit, celebrating tradition and modernity in the capital.
