Dharana Capital, a growth-stage investment firm focused on India, has led a Rs. 137 crore funding round in Petpooja, a leading cloud-based SaaS platform for restaurants. The round included both primary and secondary investments, with participation from investors such as Ashish Gupta (Helion Ventures), the founders of Urban Company, and Mukund Kulashekaran (Urban Company).
Founded in 2011 by Parthiv Patel and Apurv Patel, Petpooja currently supports over 100,000 restaurants across India, the Middle East, the US, and Africa, processing more than 7 million orders daily. It is considered the market leader among Indian cloud-based restaurant POS providers.
The company plans to use the new funding to expand its product offerings, invest in AI-driven automation, and strengthen customer support services.
