Fairmont Jaipur and Raghukul Trust Present the Darshanam Art Festival to Celebrate Pichwai Art

Fairmont Jaipur, in collaboration with the Raghukul Trust presented the Darshanam Art Festival to celebrate Rajasthan's Pichwai Art. The two-day cultural affair brought together art enthusiasts and cultural patrons for a Pichwai Art Exhibition and more.

Fairmont Jaipur, Rajasthan’s palace hotel, in partnership with Raghukul Trust, hosted the Darshanam Art Festival, a celebration of heritage and culture spotlighting the art of Pichwai painting. The festival was inaugurated on September 5, 2025, by Deputy CM Diya Kumari and Rajesh Yadav, IAS Principal Secretary Tourism, Art and Culture, followed by an exhibition and interactive workshops at Zui, Fairmont Jaipur on September 6 and 7, 2025.

The two-day cultural experience brought together artists, art enthusiasts, and cultural patrons, offering guests a Pichwai Art Exhibition alongside a free Pichwai Takeaway Workshop. Open to all age groups, the workshops invited participants to engage with Rajasthan’s artistic legacy and take home their own hand-painted Pichwai art.

Speaking at the Darshan Art Festival, Rajat Sethi, Cluster General Manager, Fairmont and Raffles Jaipur, said, “Fairmont Jaipur is deeply rooted in culture and tradition, and we were honoured to host the Darshanam Art Festival with Raghukul Trust. Raghukul Trust, under the leadership of Sadhana Garg, who is also the Curator of Darshanam Art Festival, helped in reviving Pichwai art, with the expertise and guidance of Shri Vijender Bansal. Sadhana Garg said, “Darshanam is envisioned as a celebration of Pichwai art, where tradition meets community. Through the exhibition and the free take-away workshops, we wanted to create an inclusive space where people of all age groups could experience the intricacies of this timeless art form and carry a piece of it with them. It is not just an exhibition but a step towards reviving and preserving Pichwai as a living legacy for future generations.”
