Converse Debuts in Kolkata With Its First Store at South City Mall

Converse, in partnership with Bhaane Group, opened its first-ever store in Kolkata at South City Mall.

The brand, which sees Kolkata as a crucial creative hub with a young audience states rhat it boldly and authentically expresses itself across fashion, sound, and street culture. 

Converse is a legacy lifestyle brand with more than 115 years of heritage, born in sport and offers sports-related products. Globally, the brand is known for its dynamic street culture which is expressed through its silhouettes. 

The new store at South City Mall is a space designed to allow consumers explore the brand at their own pace. It brings together Converse’s classic styles, including the Chuck Taylor All Star and Chuck 70, alongside newer expressions of the brand such as Chuck Taylor Lo’s, All Star Classic Suede, the Omega Trainers and more.

At its core, the Kolkata store reflects Converse’s larger focus on strengthening its footprint in India. And, with the new store, Conversed has forayed into the 'city of joy' with an extension across east India.
