It’s A Girl Thing Joins Forces with Mumbai Comic Con 2025 to Celebrate Sisterhood

The dynamic platform It’s A Girl Thing (IAGT) is set to bring its celebration of sisterhood, empowerment, and creative expression to Mumbai Comic Con 2025. The two-day event will take place on April 12th and 13th, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, blending the worlds of pop culture and female empowerment under one roof. With an expected footfall of 50,000 attendees, the collaboration aims to spark conversations that resonate with the voices of young women across the country.

The IAGT Salon, known for amplifying women's stories across music, arts, health, media, and business, will create an engaging space through panels, meet & greets, and interactive sessions. The weekend will feature a special appearance by digital creator and actor Priyam Saha, who will host the salon alongside her Waack Girls sisterhood, including Rytasha Rathore, Ruby Sah, Mekhola Bose, Chrisann Pereira, Anasua Chowdhury, and award-winning screenwriter Sooni Taraporevala. Joining them will be nutritionist Neha Ranglani, artist and musician Maalavika Manoj aka Mali, and food content creator Vidhi Doshi aka ramenhairedgirl, who will be offering inspiring insights into their journeys.

The partnership marks a significant moment for IAGT’s Indian chapter, building on its success in Singapore and the Philippines and a digital debut in India during the pandemic. By aligning with Comic Con, the platform expands its mission to foster inspiration, empowerment, and celebration for young women while remaining inclusive to all audiences. The fusion of these two vibrant communities offers a refreshing perspective on how pop culture shapes identity, creativity, and expression in today’s youth.

Tickets for Mumbai Comic Con 2025 are available now on District by Zomato. The standalone IAGT event originally planned for March 1st, 2025, has been postponed, with automatic refunds for ticket holders set to be processed within 7-10 days. The collaboration promises to create a space where stories are shared, voices are heard, and community bonds grow stronger.
