CHUK, Pakka's flagship brand, has expanded into seven international markets, including New York, Houston, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Singapore, UAE, and the UK. The brand, known for its compostable packaging made from sugarcane residue, aims to reduce single-use tableware. Pakka is also investing $250 million in a food packaging plant in Guatemala, supporting local economies. From its origins in Ayodhya in 2017, CHUK has become a leader in eco-friendly packaging, with major food brands like Haldirams and Taco Bell using its products. CHUK plans to replicate its success globally, tapping into the growing biodegradable market.

Jagdeep Hira, India Business Head, Pakka, said, “This international expansion represents a proud moment for India, as we take our compostable food packaging solutions from Ayodhya to the global stage. There is a huge demand for eco-friendly food packaging options in the US, UAE, Canada and other countries. This expansion will help us meet the needs of environmentally conscious consumers.  Our research indicates that the HoReCa sector and retail establishments across the globe are willing to accept innovative, sustainable packaging solutions that don't compromise on quality or functionality. CHUK's products are uniquely positioned to meet this demand.”
