Climate tech startup Aurassure has raised Rs. 25 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Rainmatter by Zerodha and Unicorn India Ventures, with participation from Maithan Alloys Limited. The company provides real-time, hyperlocal visibility into environmental risks for enterprises operating in increasingly volatile climate conditions.

The funds will be deployed towards global expansion, with a focus on strengthening Aurassure’s presence across the Global South, particularly in Latin America, South Asia, and Africa. This includes scaling operations in Brazil through its subsidiary, building regional teams, expanding city-level deployments, and advancing product development. The company will continue to enhance its Climate Intelligence Analytics Platform through AI-driven predictive models, improved cloud analytics, and next-generation hyperlocal sensing systems.

Aurassure will also invest in hardware innovation and manufacturing to advance sensor development for monitoring air quality, heat, rainfall, flooding, and microclimates. These efforts will focus on improving accuracy and durability, expanding calibration infrastructure, and optimising manufacturing processes to support large-scale and cost-efficient deployments.

Founded in 2022 by serial entrepreneur Akanksha Priyadarshini, Aurassure has built a vertically integrated climate intelligence stack that converts raw environmental signals into early warnings, risk indices, and operational insights. The platform addresses gaps in environmental visibility caused by rising pollution levels, extreme heat, climate-related flooding, and rapidly changing weather patterns.

The company operates a dense network of more than 2,000 street-level sensors combined with proprietary AI-physics fusion models. This enables high-resolution intelligence across air quality, heat stress, rainfall, water levels, wind dynamics, and urban flooding. The data supports enterprises and governments in anticipating climate disruptions, protecting assets and people, and shifting from reactive responses to proactive planning.

Commenting on the fund raise, Akanksha Priyadarshini, Co-founder & CEO, Aurassure, says, “Enterprises today need climate intelligence that is immediate, accurate, and hyperlocal. Aurassure brings that capability to the ground by helping organizations reduce risk, protect people, and operate with confidence in an increasingly unpredictable climate. What was earlier a ‘nice to have’, has now become an absolute necessity. This fund raise enables us to accelerate that mission across the global South.”

Aurassure has recently launched two products: the Climate Intelligence Analytics Platform (Aurassure Insights – AI Platform) and Avani, a personalised AI bot that answers climate-related questions for any location. The company has also secured multiple large-scale deployments and strengthened its climate-risk datasets through ultra-high-resolution ground intelligence.
