Delhi's Lodhi Art District celebrates 10 years since its first mural with a month-long festival transforming the iconic streets into a buzzing space of art, live music, workshops, and performances. Organised by St+Art India Foundation and sponsored by Asian Paints, the festival welcomes artists from around the world to create new murals across the district's walls, giving visitors the unique opportunity to watch these conceptualisations come to colourful life. The opening day features a curated walk through the district's most famous walls, an intimate workshop by renowned Argentinian space artist Elian Chali, and ELEVATION's transcending aerial acrobatics performance. Aranyani Pavilion: Sacred Nature

Aranyani launches one of South Asia's most ambitious ecological art and architecture pavilions at Sunder Nursery. Named after the forest deity of the Rigveda, this spiral walkthrough installation draws from the spatial logic of India's sacred groves. Designed by T_M.space in collaboration with founder Tara Lal, the pavilion is built from upcycled invasive Lantana camara with a living canopy of over 40 native plant species. The structure creates an inward journey through shifting light, shadow, texture, and sound, culminating in a central shrine with a large stone monolith. The pavilion hosts performances, talks, and workshops featuring Vandana Shiva, Sathnam Sanghera, Roshni Nadar Malhotra, and performances by Karsh Kale, Goya, and Komorebi. KNMA presents Tyeb Mehta: Bearing Weight

KNMA presents a landmark exhibition marking the birth centenary of one of India's most influential modernists. This first-ever comprehensive retrospective features over 120 works spanning Mehta's prolific career, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, film, and rarely shown archival material. The exhibition showcases iconic series including Falling Figure, Falling Bird, Mahishasura, Kali, Bull, and the Diagonal. Also featured is Mehta's sixteen-minute film "Koodal," which won the Filmfare Critics' Award in 1970. Curated by Roobina Karode, this exhibition offers unprecedented insights into Mehta's artistic language, intellectual rigour, and recurring concerns, presented in collaboration with Tyeb Mehta Foundation and Saffronart Foundation. Exhibit 320 presents two parallel solo exhibitions: "The Floor Keeps Count" by Sareena Khemkha (curated by Adwait Singh) and "Cabinet of Curiosities" by Kaushik Saha. Khemkha's exhibition marks a turning inward in her practice, prompted by her grandmother's death and the looming loss of her childhood home. Through careful excavation of floors, walls, and thresholds, she reassembles fragments of memory into abstract portraits blurring place and person. Saha's exhibition reflects his sustained interest in observation, collection, and the poetic potential of the everyday, constructing visual narratives at the intersection of documentation and imagination. Together, the two exhibitions present distinct yet complementary practices offering nuanced reflections on memory, materiality, and time's passage.

Gallery Vayu presents ritual paintings from Hazaribagh in collaboration with OPS Art Gallery, featuring renowned artists Malo Devi, Putli Ganju, Parvati Devi, and Rudhan Devi. Curated by Pramod KG, the exhibition showcases women-led Sohrai and Khovar ritual painting traditions rooted in Jharkhand's cultural life. Sohrai paintings mark harvest seasons using pigments from soil, leaves, charcoal, and stone, depicting animals, vines, and birds. Khovar paintings belong to marriage ceremonies, created by layering earth and cutting through surfaces. Traditionally executed on mud walls, these practices have evolved onto paper and canvas whilst retaining their original intent to bless, protect, and invite well-being. Running parallel to India Art Fair, this exhibition celebrates generations of artistic heritage.
