#RAGNEETI: BTS of the wedding of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha

A friendship that passed the test of time, turned into a union of love when Shudh Desi Romance Actress Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party MLA Raghav Chaddha joined the knot at Udaipur. The Namaste London actress said Namaste to Raghav when they met and became friends while studying abroad in London, England, several years ago. Recently, after what seemed like a peek-a-boo with both individuals denying their relationship even after sightings together, their Desi romance was not only official but was taken to the next level as the wedding was announced for the 23rd and 24th of September.



A Destination Wedding:

The wedding took place at The Leela Palace, a luxury resort and five-star hotel in Udaipur, with the couple and attendees engaging in celebrations with a scenic view of the gorgeous Lake Pichola.

The Gorgeous Outfits:

During the ceremony, Chaddha donned an ivory-toned sherwani suit with golden accents, tan-colored brogues, and a pink stole designed by his maternal uncle and designer Pawan Sachdeva. He paired the Sherwani with a golden turban with a feathered accent. Parineeti wore a hand-stitched Golden lehenga with golden threading which was designed by Manish Malhotra. The jewellery she chose to wear included a tiered necklace, maang tikka, haath phool and earrings also designed by Malhotra. Manish Malhotra has been a favourite among celebrities and brands for designing exclusive fashion for several events, award shows, ceremonies, magazines, films, and photo shoots.

The ensembles were done by Two Fold Styles, a homegrown agency, that has also styled outfits for celebrities from B-town like Yuvraj Singh, Guru Randhawa, Radhika Maddanna, and Sharvari among Marathi actors for multiple brand shoots. It has previously collaborated with Parineeti for several brand shoots.

Filmography for the Big Day:

The grand event where the two tied the knot was filled with love, laughter, and emotions and was filmed by Four Fold Pictures, which has previously worked with Aaliyah Kashyap and Shane Gregory on their wedding albums and creative filmography. The picture-perfect moments of the wedding were shot by The House on the Clouds. The wedding photographers HOTC have also captured on-camera wedding moments from recent celebrity weddings like that of Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani and Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

The Big Fat Indian Wedding Plans:

The dream wedding was planned and made possible at the Palace Resort in Udaipur, by the wedding and event planners at 'Ten Events India'. The Wedding decor used to liven up the place for the celebratory event was organized by Rashi Nidhi Events. The exquisite food and drinks for the wedding were delivered by Food Inc. catering from Yum Yum Tree who have previously catered to the culinary needs of the wedding of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal.

Hair and Make-up:

The flawless make-up for Parineeti Chopra and her bride-maids was done by the make-up artist Savleen Manchanda. The couple had their hair done by stylist Priyanka S Borkar and the team at Entourage Talents. Borkar has previously worked with Parineeti Chopra for the shoot of a magazine. 

The Kaleera used in the Kaleere ritual after the Haldi ceremony was customised by Mrinalini Chandra who is a jewellery designer and her exclusive Kaleeras are common among celebrity weddings. Her Kaleeras were also used in Weddings like Kiara Advani with Sidharth Malhotra and Athiya Shetty with Cricketer KL Rahul. The customized Juttis that were worn at the wedding were hand-crafted by Fizzy Goblet which has a subsidiary called ‘Fizzlet’ which was launched in collaboration with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Their Juttis have been a popular choice with celebrities with the likes of Kiara Advani and Shilpa Shetty spotted wearing them.

To sum it up, it was a grand wedding and an evening full of memories for the couple, their families, and for all of us who are their fans.
