There are many brands in the market that offer Yoga-friendly products, but WiseLife identified a pressing need to provide consumers with aesthetically pleasing options alongside comfort. Founded in 2020 by a Chartered Accountant, WiseLife aims to deliver eco-friendly, aesthetic, and high-quality products. Discover how the brand secured a deal with four Sharks in episode 29 of Shark Tank India Season 3.

Like many Indians, Prateek Kedia, the Founder of WiseLife, faced mental and physical health issues while working in the corporate sector. Struggling to prioritize his health amidst work commitments, he turned to Yoga for answers. However, he encountered difficulty in finding high-quality and aesthetically pleasing Yoga mats and accessories. Frustrated by the lack of options, he settled for an average-quality mat, sparking the vision for WiseLife. Determined to revolutionize people's fitness journeys by addressing the need for quality Yoga equipment with aesthetic appeal, WiseLife was born.

As mentioned by the brand, they promise to address the challenges faced by Yoga practitioners when purchasing high-quality and visually appealing Yoga equipment. It aims to promote Yoga and encourage people to practice while bridging the gap by raising awareness about these issues.

Experience in Shark Tank

The founder of WiseLife initially pitched for Rs. 60 Lakhs for 2% equity, a proposal that received interest from all five Sharks. Subsequently, they proposed a revised deal of double the investment at the same valuation, i.e., Rs. 1.2 Crores for 4% equity. Ultimately, the deal was accepted, involving four Sharks: Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt; Anupam Mittal, founder and CEO of Shaadi.com; Ritesh Aggarwal, founder and CEO of OYO Rooms; and Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals.
