The 'Khalnayak' of Bollywood, Sanjay Dutt has on his name various notable contributions to the Hindi film industry along with his achievements in the South-Indian film empire. However, apart from the influential roles, Sanjay Dutt has also been working for his business empire - by venturing into investments and production houses. Today, on his birthday, we are taking a look at his investments!
Cartel & Bros
Last year, the B'town actor Sanjay Dutt invested in Cartel & Bros, a venture looking to import and retail liquor brands in India. Founded by Neeraj Singh and Jitin Merani, the company's first product is Glenwalk, the blended Scotch whisky brand. Reportedly, Glenwalk is also considered to be the first Indian celebrity-owned alcohol brand in the world, as per Hotelier India.
DawnTown
The sneaker marketplace, Dawn Town is another on the investment list for Sanjay Dutt. The actor has invested $5,00,000. Founded by Kushagra Patwari and Risheek Agrawal in 2021, the marketplace houses various sneaker brands, both national and international. The physical marketplace has also been celebrities' favourites!
Cyber Media
Sanjay Dutt also owns less than one percent of the shares in Cyber Media Ltd. Owned and founded by Pradeep Gupta, the media house owns various subsidiaries like DQ Channels, Voice&Data, Dataquest, PCQuest, DQ Week, and Global Services.
Production Houses
Other than the investments, Sanjay Dutt also owns his own production houses. He ventured into it in 2007 with Sanjay Dutt Productions Private Limited. A few movies like The Good Maharaja, Rascals, and Prassthanam were produced under the banner. Secondly, Dutt started another production house in February 2022 named Three Dimension Motion Pictures.
Needless to say, this 64-year-old actor still stays relevant, and hence, no doubt why he enjoys such a good following!
