Shark Tank India S3: A couple from Jaipur seeks funding for their brand Indigifts!

In the 46th episode of Shark Tank India S3, a couple from Jaipur presented their startup, Indigifts, which specializes in personalized gifting. The motto "Swag Bhi, Sanskar Bhi" speaks volumes about the brand. Established in 2017 by Nitin Jain and Divya Jain, the brand is owned and operated by them. The Head Office is located in the Sitapur Industrial area, Jaipur, and the manufacturing facility encompasses a large research and development department, as well as a tech department that includes an experience center. The R&D department focuses on product research, designs, and graphics that express emotions, while the tech lab conducts data analysis, and market research, and identifies the latest trends to design and customize products and plan new launches.

With a commitment to the 'Make in India' initiative and global outreach, the brand has produced and distributed over 20 lakh products. Their mission to empower women artisans has already resulted in over 300 artisans achieving self-reliance, with a goal of empowering over 10,000 artisans by 2030. Moreover, by fostering innovation in India's art and craft sector and supporting artisans, Indigifts is championing the 'Vocal for Local' movement, providing consumers, corporates, and retailers with the opportunity to choose from locally crafted collections.

Experience in Shark Tank

The initial ask was INR 50 lakhs for 2% equity, which was agreed discussed with a revised deal in partnership with Ritesh Agarwal, Founder and CEO of OYO Rooms, and Vineeta Singh, CEO and Co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics. With strategic and advisory investment, the deal was closed and agreed upon for INR 50 Lakhs for 4% equity, valuing the company at INR 25 Crore. Sharing the overall experience of Shark Tank India, Nitin Jain said, "It is very important for Tier 2 and 3 cities' businesses as it provides exposure for networking and reaching out to customers worldwide. The brand aims for a purpose-driven business and believes in 'Unity in Diversity,' as it embodies the essence of our culture. It is a platform where 'Unity in Diversity' is reflected, as it brings together brands and aspiring entrepreneurs and helps promote Indian goods worldwide."
