After winning the ‘Best Song’ for Naatu Naatu at the Golden Globe Awards, RRR has won another award at the 28th Critics Choice Awards for ‘Best Foreign Language Film’. Post the win, the actors who played the lead roles in the film, took to their social media to express their happiness and gratitude.

Jio 5G services rolled out in three Bihar, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh

After a few metropolitan cities and tier 2 cities where Airtel 5G services were launched, Jio 5G services have been launched in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Chattisgarh. The launch took place on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Moreover, the telecom company has also branched out their service in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.

Kerala is the only state making the list of places to visit this year

According to the list by New York Times where they have mentioned 52 places to visit this year, Kerala is the only Indian state that made it to the list. Kerala has been listed 13, along with London, Morioka, Japan and others. The state has been listed because of its backwaters, beaches, lagoons, cuisines, and the popular festival, "Vaikathashtami".

Kerala to opt for ‘teachers’ instead of ‘sir’ or ‘madam’

Aiming to promote gender neutrality among school-going children, Kerala Child Rights Commission has asked the schools to use the term, ‘teachers’ instead of addressing them with ‘Sir’or ‘Ma’am’. The commission has advised the general education department to further inform all the schools to follow the directions.

PM flags off the MV Ganga Vilas cruise

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the world’s longest river cruise called, the ‘MV Ganga Vilas cruise through video conferencing. The cruise has been launched in Varanasi and it is aimed at increasing tourism in the country. Along with this, several other water projects have been launched worth more than 1000 crores.
