1. Centre issues advisory amid a spike in COVID-19 cases

The Centre has issued an advisory to seven states, including Delhi, over the spike in Coronavirus cases. The government has asked to ramp up testing, promote Covid-appropriate behaviour and increase the speed of vaccination, also keeping in mind that the festival season is around the corner.

2. India gets a new airline

After Akasa Air was granted the Air Operator Certificate from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, it began its official commercial operations. The first flight of the airline operated between Mumbai to Ahmedabad.

3. Haryana boy creates world record by developing three apps at the youngest age

A 12-year-old Harayana boy has received the Guinness Book of World Records for creating three apps after taking tutorials from YouTube. The class 8 student from Jhajjar's Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has become the youngest app developer in the whole world.

4. Jagdeep Dhankar becomes Vice President of India
