The Maharashtra Tourism and Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray launched the bus ahead of Christmas that will soon resemble the Ho Ho bus services in London. The bus will start from Gateway of India and end at Juhu Chowpatty, halting at several sights along the way.

The electric AC buses will be available at the frequency of 30 minutes from 9 am to 8 pm. If you want to get the bus pass for one day, it will cost you Rs. 250. The booking for the buses and the seats can be done online through BookMyShow.

Coming to the best part, the bus service will allow you to explore the city at your will and own pace. One can take unlimited rides and get off or get on at any destination en route, as many times as you wish. You need not worry about leaving the bus as another will be coming in after half an hour!

As of now, the bus stops will include the UNESCO heritage site, CSMT, Byculla Zoo, Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Siddhivinayak Temple, Band Stand Bandra, Juhu Garden, Juhu Chowpatty, Nehru Science Centre/ Nehru Planetarium, Mani Bhavan, Hanging Garden, Aquarium, Museum and Gateway of India.

To boost tourism in the city, the government is planning on deploying a fleet of around 10 plush, AC electric buses. For this, BEST had also asked the citizens to participate in the designing work of the buses through the campaign ‘Design Mumbai Ho Ho Bus’ by allowing them to send their artwork to BEST before November 30.

So, all set to see the dream city?
