The company has announced that the IKEA shopping centre will soon be opened in Guragram of which the construction will start in 2022.
Ingka Centres, part of the Ingka Group (which also includes IKEA Retail and Ingka Investments), has announced plans for a shopping centre in Gurugram. This IKEA shopping centre will be the first to be opened in India.
The construction for the centre will start in 2022 costing around Rs. 3500 crores while also creating job opportunities for more than 2500 people. Being developed as a local community hub, the centre will provide spaces for festivals and exhibitions throughout the year. Moreover, the hub will also become a hotspot for shopping, working, eating, exercising, learning, and socializing.

Ingka Centres 52nd meeting place at Gurugram will offer a vibrant mix of hospitality, food and beverage, edutainment learning spaces, alongside a wide retail offer anchored by an IKEA store. The centre is also likely to observe more than 20 million people annually.
