Kolkata Bashi, now you do not have to leave your car and worry about social distancing! Because Little Roti at Park St. is serving food to your car. This eatery provides a facility of drive-through, which is definitely the need of the hour in this pandemic, and it looks pretty good.
The pandemic is not over yet, and so maintaining social distancing is still needed. Though the lockdown restrictions have eased out in many cities, that doesn't mean we forget about the existence of COVID-19. It is still there, and so going out needs to be more precautionary. Seeing this, 'Little Roti' in Park St. in Kolkata has come up with a drive-through facility. So if you are eating out, you can enjoy your food in the comfort of your car without worrying about the crowd.
"My mom has been born and brought up in Chennai. She has grown up eating in eateries that would have a drive-through facility. She was the one who suggested I come up with something similar. We thought that it would be a great idea as we have a parking area too.", says Shivangini Kothari, owner of Little Roti. After a lot of planning, Shivangini and her team finally introduced their drive-through, and people seem to love it. "It's been around a month and a half since we started, and we do see 2-3 families every day asking about it.", she adds.
Shivangini, who is a big-time foodie, and a lawyer by profession, opened this eatery recently during the pandemic. Her brother came up with the name, and she decided to take her love for the food to another level by opening Little Roti. "I tried introducing a menu which I liked and used to crave back in college.", she says.
