Little couple

Payal and Kapil are fondly known as Little Couple on the internet, and they are adorable. They make fun reels and comedy videos on Instagram and YouTube. They both were born with Dwarfism, and it was literally a match made in heaven. Keep reading to know their inspiring love story and how this little couple became an internet sensation!

It was a dating and friendship app for differently-abled people that brought Payal and Kapil together. They started off by texting each other on the app, then their friendship grew over Instagram, but none of them ever thought of marrying each other. "Payal was the first girl that I met on the app, later I uninstalled it, but we both remained in touch.", says Kapil. Payal and Kapil both have Dwarfism, and life had always been a struggle for them, so when they met each other online, they found a lot in common.

Kapil also shared a great friendship with Payal's brother, Deepak, who also has Dwarfism, and so the trio connected very well. They started making videos together. Payal would dance with her brother, while Kapil used to edit their videos and motivate them to do better. But, then how did this friendship turned into a relationship, and they became a little couple?

"Deepak did ask me about Payal once, but I said no because I was not even sure about myself. I thought how would I take responsibility for someone else when I myself am struggling", says Kapil. But, as we have mentioned above that their match was made in heaven, and it was supposed to happen, and so one day it actually did! When one of Payal's neighbors attended a wedding at Kapil's place, she suggested Payal for him.

"I did not know she was talking about Payal, so when I got to know that this girl was her, I thought let's give it a try.", he adds. Payal also felt the same, but she took her time. "I wanted to be sure, so I waited. After 15 days, my family & I went to see him in Indore. Our Roka happened that day. A few months later, Kapil came to Rajasthan to meet me, and that’s when I fell in love with him", says Payal.

On the day of their marriage, they made a very beautiful dance video, which later got viral over different social media platforms. "We posted our wedding video and it was all over the place even on matrimonial websites. The video currently has over 26.9 million views on it.", says Kapil. The duo later started with their YouTube channel too, where they post vlogs and dance videos. Their channel has around 100K subscribers, and people have been pouring nothing but love on their content.

Their dance videos are a treat to the eyes, while their adorable images together will give you couple goals. " We get more positive comments and it's people who have pushed us this much. Although we get a couple of negative comments, our followers and fans fight with them and give replies on our behalf. So, we focus more on love.", says Payal.

One thing that bought these cuties together was their physical conditions. Both of them have Dwarfism, and that's why they have been able to understand each other even better. Kapil was born with Arthrogryposis, which stiffens one's muscles around the joints, and ends up dislocating them. " My hip and the knee joint are dislocated. We did 2 operations for my Patella when I was young, but for the hips, we couldn't as it was risky.", says Kapil.

Kapil and Payal's childhood was difficult. They both suffered from immense pain due to their conditions. "I was dependent on people. We used to have sports lectures and everybody would play, except me. I used to stare at them for those 45 minutes every single time.", says Kapil. He even fractured his leg when he was in 10th grade and couldn't attend college for the next two years. He gained around 29 kgs during that time and even thought of committing suicide. "I was in depression, had no friends and it was difficult. I had no confidence to go out. But, then one of my friends motivated me, and I lost 29 kgs at home, all by myself.", he further says.

Payal also has had some difficult times. Dwarfism was tough for her as well. "I have always been this way. People used to stare at me, and I used to feel guilty. That is the reason why I always wanted to become famous so that the gaze would change. I wanted people to know me, and so I started making videos on TikTok.", she explains.

After his weight loss, Kapil even cleared his banking exam and became a full-time banker. In between all this, he continued making videos with Payal, who was already popular on TikTok. "I had become popular on TikTok, but then it was banned, and so I shifted to Instagram. We three kept making videos, and the reels did help us. But, after we posted our wedding video, we became even more famous.", says Payal.

Since then, the duo has been posting a lot and experiments with their content. Right from awareness videos on the Pandemic, to fun dance videos, to cute reels, they have a great combination of everything entertaining on their page. " I am a lazy perfectionist. I want to make things that people actually enjoy as they are investing their time.", says Kapil. The duo work as a team. Kapil edits the videos on his phone, and Payal works on the content. " So, for Holi we had recorded a video and I had to dance in that. Since I'm not a dancer, it was a difficult yet a lot of fun to shoot.", says Kapil.

Though this little couple has become very popular, and people adore them for who they are, some tend to make them feel uncomfortable. "I think people should not point us out, and instead of laughing and making weird faces, they should come and meet us.", says Kapil. Payal also feels the same and says that everybody is equal. " Don't see us in a way that we are from another planet. Treat us like everybody and support our work.", she adds.

From meeting online on a dating app to meeting in person and becoming each other's soulmates, the journey of this little couple is mesmerizing and not less than a fairytale. They have found comfort in each other and are crazily in love. "I used to worry a lot. I was scared of going out. But now that we both are together, we have become much confident", says Kapil. Appreciating Kapil's presence in her life, Payal says, " It is all because of him. He has always motivated me to work harder and not give up. We are together and it's the most beautiful thing for me.", she adds
