The Appetizers:

We are a huge fan of Lucknow's iconic Galauti Kabab, and it was a delight to see the gorgeous brown color of these kababs too. The texture was just right, and these kababs did melt in our mouths. The 6 pieces of kababs were served with creamy mint chutney & onions, and we totally loved it! The kababs had a pleasing flavor of condiments and tasted great with the soft paranthas.

The Mains

For the main course, we had Dum Pukht Chicken Bumbai Biryani. It was as good as the Galauti Kabab and had an optimum balance of spices. It was neither too hot nor bland, making it perfect for everyone's taste buds. The Raita was chilled and complemented the Biryani.

We also loved sipping on the Khus Sharbat during our meal. It added to the taste of the food and washed down the spices and the flavors for the next bite.

For the dessert, Shahi Tukda pleased our sweet tooth. It was unlike the usual shahi tukdas that we have tried, and we liked it very much. Though it was a little dry, yet the flavors were intact, and we loved how it was not soggy at all. The triangle shape looked Instagrammazing, while the crunchy topping of almonds went well with sweet and juicy Tukda.

   Overall, we liked the food. It was flavourful! The meat had a tender and a very smooth texture. We also loved how it was not oily, and did not feel heavy on the stomach.
