Théla is another upcycling initiative that handcrafts products with plastic waste. Their products are made with discarded plastic carry bags, garbage bags, food packaging wrappers, and large plastic sheets used in agriculture. They turn plastic into yarn, and then this yarn goes for handcrafting. Team Thela uses two craft techniques – crochet and weaving. The crocheted products are made entirely by founder Diti in Greece.
