The third edition of the Arth - A Culture Fest is providing an opportunity to explore the cultural melange while sitting in the comfort of homes! Read more about the fest below!

A two-day event, Arth - A Culture Fest, representing India’s history, culture, sports, and literature is going to be organized in Kolkata. The third edition of the fest will start from February 27 continuing till 28.

The  will be eventstreamed live through the Facebook and YouTube channels of Zee 24. Aiming to provide an opportunity to immerse in the rich narratives of India, the event will also let the audiece connect with their roots and values.

Kolkata Edition of the fest will bring to fore the essence of East India. Right from the undying passion for cinema, politics, culture to the never-ending love affair with sports, the audience will get to explore much more.

Shreyasi Goenka, Founder of Arth - A Culture Fest and Co-Director of Saat Saath Arts Foundation,  says that it is important to reconnect the young generation to the rich legacies left behind by stalwarts like Subhash Chandra Bose, Satyajit Ray and Soumitra Chatterjee.

"Arth in Kolkata will aim to celebrate the great work done by these heroes and rediscover its ethos," she said.

Some of the eminent personalities taking part in the event are Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, Smriti Irani, Subramanian Swamy and Swapan Dasgupta. Apart from this, Bhaichung Bhutia, Irshad Kamil, Ila Arun, Nachiketa Chakraborty, Dilip Ghosh and Harshavardhan Neotia will also be present at the fest.

Commenting on the launch, Swaroop Banerjee, Chief Operating Officer & Business Head, Zee Live said, “Arth becomes more than a festival now. It has become a platform that brings millions closer to Indian culture and heritage."

The audience participating in the fest will also get to enjoy various discussions on  'Bengal Elections', 'Tribute to Satyajit Ray & Soumitra Chatterjee', and '125 years of Subhash Chandra Bose'. People will also talk about Kolkata's love for sports during the event.

"We are also trying to help society look beyond the pandemic and give people the confidence to reboot cultural activities," Vikram Sampath, author, historian and Festival Director of Arth - A Culture Fest said.

Before this, Minister Amit Shah, Asaduddin Owaisi, Smriti Irani, Raveena Tandon, Amish Tripathi had also participated in the other two editions. And, people had enjoyed the performances of GurdaasMaan, Euphoria, Shubha Mudgal, and Usha Uthup.
