Shakul Gupta from Gurgaon is a 'Boyfriend on rent', and he can be your happy date this Valentine's!

Valentine's day is around the corner, and ladies, if you are feeling lonely, Shakul Gupta can be your date this valentine!

Valentine's week has already started, and all the happy couples are waiting for valentine's day with all excitement. But then there are some people who are still waiting for someone to hold their hands and hug them tight. But hey, do you know there is someone willing to do that for singles on 14th February? He will spend a day, be your date, and will definitely make your valentine's day memorable. He is Shakul Gupta, and he is a 'Boyfriend on rent'!

''I've never had a girlfriend in my life–I just want someone to say 'yes' to me; just once! If the word 'rejection' had a synonym, it'd be my name, 'Shakul!' It was sad watching my friends date and suddenly have to hang out by myself. I feel for those who've been single all their lives; how much can one love themselves?'', says Shakul.



Shakul is a Haryanvi, and he has been a 'Boyfriend on rent' since 2018. He takes his date to fancy restaurants, sings songs for them, gives them his shoulder to lean on, go for trekking, or even cook their favourite meal!



''Valentine's Day was the biggest reminder of my inability to have a girlfriend. it's not as if I hadn't asked out girls before, but women always saw me as a 'friend'. I began thinking of all those girls who craved companionship like me on Valentine's Day. So for the past 3 years on Feb 14, I've been a 'Boyfriend on Rent'.''

Though he has been mocked online numerous times, it doesn't stop him from being kind!



 ''I feel no shame in being a 'Boyfriend on Rent'. I once went on a date with a girl who cried and expressed her insecurities–‘I feel bad knowing guys don't ask me out because of my weight.' Another girl requested, 'I've been having difficult days at work lately, could you please hug me?'', said his Instagram post.

In the last 3 years, Shakul has gone on 45 dates and has been spreading happiness. He believes when two lonely people get together, it's not so lonely anymore, and we couldn't agree more!
